Domestic Team Member
    What Will I Be Doing in the Role?

        • Domestic duties for consumers in their own home within the Sunrise Village and the wider community.
        • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
        • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
        • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
        • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
        • Emptying rubbish and disposing of waste

    What Experience Do I Need?

        • Previous experience in a domestic/cleaning position 
        • Police check (less than 3 years old) or willing to obtain one
        • A strong commitment to working with older people. 
        • Ability to work in a team and independently 
        • A motor vehicle driver’s licence and own vehicle
        • Experience in working with older people or those with a disability (desirable)

    The Job

        • Permanent Part-Time, three days per week (Must be available Wednesday and Thursday, third day flexible)
        • 8am to 4pm 
        • Opportunity for more hours as the business grows
        • Immediate start available for the right candidate!

Domestic Team Member
    What Will I Be Doing in the Role?

        • Following Care Plans and providing the support and care described, such as personal care, housekeeping support, domestic assistance, shopping, transport to appointments, social support and any other activities to help them live as independently as possible in their own homes.
        • Promote and foster the independence of the consumer by encouraging them to keep completing tasks independently.
        • Provide companionship with consumers in their home and community through one-on-one support which includes social cooking, arts and crafts, outings and much more!
        • Ensuring COVID-19 guidelines are met when on shift by being COVID aware.

    What Experience Do I Need?

        • Personal smart phone to access your roster
        • Qualification Relevant to Aged Care.
        • Police check (less than 3 years old) or able to obtain one
        • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
        • All Home Care Employees must be compliant with the Public Health Order vaccination requirements or have a valid medical contraindication certificate.

    The Job

        • Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual positions available.
        • Flexibility to find shifts that work with your schedule covering nightshift, evening, weekend and day work.
        • Opportunity for extra hours as the business grows.

        Interviews will be held as soon as possible in our offices at the Sunrise Village Tuncurry.
